Claire & Francis Heritage Lane

The Hong Kong based Claire & Francis Heritage Lane Collection was founded by the couple Claire and Francis Li. They study seriously the techniques, aesthetics and history of Chinese ceramics. Many ancient ceramic objects they acquired have been exhibited and published.

Claire and Francis Li take great pleasure in the process of collecting and they are always ready to share their knowledge and joy with others. A number of exhibitions of their collection havebeen organized, including the one in the Asia Art Archive in 2014.

Recently, they lent more than a hundred antique miniatures, ranging from Song dynasty (AD 960-1279) ‘hare’s fur’ bowls to ancient Egyptian amulets, to the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology Library for an exhibition entitled “In the Palm of Hand”, which is held on 26th November, 2015 till 30th April, 2016.
